Journaling: We still have the big fire pit in the backyard, but it's so hard for me to get down there anymore. Following in my mother-in-law's footsteps, I bought a gift, that I wanted, for Freddy, for Father's Day. Now, we can enjoy our evening wine, on the deck, in full view of our gorgeous backyard. It just doesn't get any better than this.

GS Survivor Week 2, 2019-03-01 Snowed Out StripesDelight_02

Besides my grands, my birds are my favorite subjects to scrap.
Week 2: all white, pop of color (green)
Journaling: The best thing about winter in our backyard is catching the birds waiting for a spot at our feeder. We have Chickadees, Junkos, Purple and Gold Finch, and Nuthatches. But my very favorite are the Cardinals. There’s a family living in the evergreen and Daddy always stands watch while Mommy is eating.
